The kind folks over at the Santa Monica New Tech Meetup group selected myTreat as one of the startups to demo their product at their monthly demo night event. We had the pleasure of showing off some of our yet-to-be-released features to over 250 people in the audience. It was great connecting with the other startups and the people at the event. Kate Gaffin is a life long Entrepreneur and sought after presenter on the very important, yet often overlooked ‘Soft Skills’ aspects of Business Development, Customer Service and Customer Retention. And, in addition to running one of NYC’s largest and most respected Business Networking groups, ‘Connecting to Greatness’ which boasts 4,000 members, Kate is also just finishing up her first book, ‘Super Star Networking for Real People.’
Victoria Pynchon is the organizer of the Professional Womens Network of Southern California (PWNSC) Meetup group which is focused on helping high level women professionals pursue concrete business and networking plans so they can reach their goals. We invited Victoria to share more info on her group and why she started it.

Ken Bailey is one of the organizers behind, Singles Odyessy, a Meetup group based out of Huntington Beach, California catering to singles looking to meet “friendly, genuine, sociable, and fun loving singles” who range from 20’s to 50’s. Today Ken shares with us more info about his group and some of the activities they’ve done.
Erin is the organizer behind Ms. Independent, a Meetup group located in Houston, Texas, devoted to “young and ambitious women that want to enjoy every moment.” As the name implies this activities group is specifically for women. Today she shares more about the group and decision to focus on developing a group for women.
Chas is the organizer and leader of Bay Area Hiking, Biking, Adventure, Photography, and Vino, a Meetup group that combines outdoor activities and wine in the San Francisco area. Beth is the organizer of, BuxMont Social Singles, a Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania Meetup group devoted to providing singles with “opportunities to get out of the house, meet other people with good attitudes, have fun, and engage in activities with other like-minded, single people with positive attitudes.” Today Beth shares exactly how they do that with their group.
Lisa is the organizer behind the Meetup group, West Valley Activities Group located in Glendale, Arizona. Their group is dedicated to people who enjoy socializing and exploring new venues in the Valley area. Other activities include dining, hiking, festivals, sporting events, and more. Today, Lisa shares her motivations for starting the group and what it takes to throw a successful event.
